India ratings: Star Plus & Colors lead the way

Star Plus remain the undisputed leader in the Hindi entertainment genre despite facing stiff competition from the ongoing World T20 cricket. The channel added 16 points to reach 268 GRPs this week (last week 252).

After weeks of movement at the number two position, Colors distanced itself from other rivals with 233 GRPs this week (last week 233). This was mainly down to its ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ property, which came to an end last week.

ZEE TV slipped to third with 217 GRPs (last week 235). Its flagship singing show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ opened at 2.5 TVR on Saturday night.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia lost 30 GRPs this week and recorded 202 GRPs (last week 232).

Star Life Ok overtook Sony SAB TV by grabbing 124 GRPs (last week 124). Sony SAB TV was just behind with 122 GRPs this week (last week 131).

Sahara One was up slightly to 34 GRPs this week (last week 29).
