India ratings: Star Plus & Colors gain viewers

While the pecking order remained more or less unchanged, Star Plus and Colors were the biggest gainers in latest Indian television ratings from TAM.

According to data for Week 12 of 2015, Star Plus topped ratings with 624 GVMs (up from 592 GVMs last week), followed by Colors with 457 GVMs (up from 428 GVMs last week) and ZEE TV remained in third place with 394 GVMs (down from 407 GVMs last week).

In the next tier was Life Ok was down from 307 GVMs to 302 GVMs this week. Similarly, SAB TV registered 275 GVMs, down from 288 GVMs last week. In sixth place, Sony Entertainment Television Asia tumbled down to 221 GVMs from 201 GVMs last week, followed by &TV with 99 GVMs, down from 105 GVMs last week.

The bottom tier consisted of Sony Pal with 49 GVMs (up from 42 GVMs last week), followed by Zindagi with 21 GVMs (down from 23 GVMs last week), Sahara One was unchanged with 9 GVMs and Epic with 7 GVMs – same as last week.
