India ratings: Star Guild Awards propels Star Plus

The recently telecast Star Guild Awards (5.2 TVM) has pushed Star Plus and extended its lead at the top.

According to official data from TAM for Week 4 of 2015, Star Plus added 46 GVTM to jump to 659 GVTM (last week 613 GTVM). The recently launched show ‘Tu Mera Hero’ also dislodged ‘Jodha Akbar’ (ZEE TV) from the lead position in the 20:00 slot. ‘Tu Mera Hero’ got its biggest audience with 6.3 TVM. Colors was in second place with 485 GTVM (last week 485 GVTM) and ZEE TV in third with 408 GTVM (last week 417 GTVM).

The next tier saw SAB TV take lead in fourth place with 305 GTVM (last week 318 GTVM), followed by Life Ok with 299 GTVM (last week 316 TVM) and Sony Entertainment Television Asia in sixth with 238 GTVM (last week 235 GTVM).

The bottom tier consisted of Big Magic with 49 GTVM, Sony Pal with 26 GTVM, Zindagi with 21 GTVM and Epic with 7 GTVM.
