India Ratings: Star Bharat topples Colors from No.1 in Urban region

Star Bharat has emerged as the leading Hindi entertainment channel in latest India ratings (Urban region) for the first time, according to official BARC data for Week 14 of 2018.

Star Bharat registered 356.727 million Impressions, beating Colors for the first time, which fell to No.2 with 353.153 million Impressions and Star Plus climbed up to No.3 with 352.580 million Impressions. At No.4 was ZEE TV with 326.288 million Impressions and Sony SAB TV in fifth with 286.256 million Impressions.

The top rated shows in the Urban region were ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6.577 million Impressions, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on Star Plus with 5.853 million Impressions and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ on Star Plus with 5.600 million Impressions.

ZEE Anmol was No.1 in the Rural region with 549.832 million Impressions, followed by Sony Pal with 459.621 million Impressions and Star Utsav with 426.377 million Impressions. Star Bharat was placed at No.4 with 374.833 million Impressions and Rishtey rounded off the Top 5 with 302.125 million Impressions.

The top rated shows in the Rural region were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 9.401 million Impressions, followed by ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony Pal with 6.335 million Impressions and ‘CID’ on Sony Pal with 5.670 million Impressions.

Star Bharat continued to strive in the U&R combined region data with 731.561 million Impressions, followed by ZEE Anmol with 710.197 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 675.060 million Impressions. Star Utsav stuck at No.4 with 603.378 million Impressions and ZEE TV in fifth with 534.938 million Impressions.

The top rated shows in the U&R region were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 11.460 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 10.718 million Impressions and ‘Kya Haal Mr Paanchal’ on Star Bharat with 9.370 million Impressions.
