Star TV Network’s new entertainment channel, Star Bharat has had a strong start in India, according to official data from BARC for Week 35 of 2017.
Looking at data for HSM (Urban & Rural), Star Bharat launched bigger than when its predecessor Life OK ended. Star Bharat clocked up 519.743 million, compared to 328.571 million the week before as Life OK. It was placed at No.5 behind ZEE Anmol with 771.523 million (last week 815.471 million) Impressions, followed by Colors with 613.679 million (last week 618.223 million) Impressions and ZEE TV in third with 598.705 million (last week 617.260 million) Impressions. In fourth place was Star Plus with 574.003 million (last week 598.506 million) Impressions.
In the Urban market, Colors remained No.1 with 412.199 million (last week 413.873 million) Impressions, followed by Star Plus with 401.315 million (last week 411.251 million) Impressions and Sony Entertainment Television with 353.685 (last week 277.671 million) Impressions. ZEE TV was at No.4 with 350.145 million (last week 370.390 million) Impressions and Sony SAB TV next with 261.410 million (last week 270.886 million) Impressions.
In the Rural market, ZEE Anmol ruled with 608.797 million (last week 644.496 million) Impressions, followed by Sony Pal with 329.928 million (last week 356.952 million) Impressions and Rishtey in third with 306.972 million (last week 389.772 million) Impressions. Star Bharat was at No.4 with 278.785 million Impressions and ZEE TV in fifth with 248.559 million (last week 246.870 million) Impressions.
