India Ratings: Star Bharat holds on to No.1 spot

Star Bharat retained the lead in latest India ratings with a hold in the Urban and Rural regions overall, according to Week 50 of 2017 data from BARC India.

The channel delivered 684.322 million Impressions, followed by ZEE Anmol with 644.895 million Impressions and Colors dropping to third with 620.815 million Impressions. In fourth was ZEE TV with 575.064 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 548.810 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the region was ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 11.356 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 11.047 million Impressions and ‘Kya Haal Mr Panchaal’ on Star Bharat with 10.571 million Impressions.

Colors stayed ahead in Urban ratings in India, with 445.064 million Impressions, followed by Star Plus moving back up to No.2 with 360.808 million Impressions and ZEE TV in third with 347.219 million Impressions. In fourth was Star Bharat with 333.351 million Impressions and Sony Entertainment Television with 298.689 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Urban region was ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 7.047 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6.840 million Impressions and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony SAB TV with 6.658 million Impressions.

ZEE Anmol remained top in the Rural ratings in India, with 491.749 million million Impressions, followed by Star Utsav with 380.376 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 372.280 million Impressions. At No.4 was Star Bharat with 350.971 million Impressions and Rishtey in fifth with 317.443 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Rural region was ‘Baalveer’ on Sony Pal with 6.601 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kya Haal Mr Panchaal’ on Star Bharat with 6.004 million Impressions and ‘Kaala Teeka’ on ZEE Anmol with 5.904 million Impressions.
