India ratings: Sony TV & Sony Pal excel

Sony Entertainment Television and sister channel, Sony Pal have excelled in latest India television ratings from BARC for Week 47 of 2016.

While, Colors remained the first choice in the Urban market with 442.445 million Impressions and Star Plus in second with 431.133 million Impressions, it was Sony TV that remained in third place with 288.979 million Impressions. ZEE TV was in fourth with 274.263 million Impressions and Sony SAB TV with 265.411 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Urban market was ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on Colors with 9.133 million Impressions, followed by ‘Shakti’ on Colors at No.2 with 7.255 million Impressions and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV at No.3 with 7.037 million Impressions.

In the Rural market, Sony Pal moved up to No.1 with 348.642 million Impressions, followed by ZEE Anmol with 307.877 million Impressions and Star Utsav with 305.964 million Impressions. In fourth place, Rishtey with 265.868 million Impressions and Colors at No.5 with 212.745 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Rural market was ‘Baalveer’ on Sony Pal with 7.153 million Impressions, followed by ‘Naagin – Season 1’ on Rishtey with 6.234 million Impressions and ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on Colors with 5.465 million Impressions.
