Ahead of the launch of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, Sony Entertainment Television Asia has overtaken ZEE TV in the India TV ratings, according to data for Week 33 of 2011.

It comes as a huge blow to ZEE TV, which has been facing the heat from Sony TV for a number of weeks, mainly down to the success of drama ‘Bade Ache Lagte Hai’ and ‘X Factor India’. Sony TV is expected to grow more with the ‘KBC’ viewership data next week. Sony TV has recorded 195 GRPs this week (last week 187). ZEE TV has maintained the status quo and recorded 190 GRPs (last week 190).

Star Plus has lost 27 GRPs this week but remains on top with a total of 277 GRPs. Colors too has lost 33 GRPs this week. The channel has recorded 236 GRPs (last week 269).

SAB TV has recorded 127 GRPs (last week 124).

Imagine TV has recorded 71 GRPs in this week (last week 70).

Amongst the shows, Color۪s ‘Balika Vadhu’ continues to be the top show with 4.8 TVR followed by ‘Saathiya’ (4.6), ‘Pavitra Rishta’ (4.5), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (3.9), ‘Uttaran’ (3.8). Parichay opened up well on Colors with a rating of 2.7.
