India ratings: Sony TV goes up, others go down

Sony Entertainment Television Asia is the biggest gainer this week in terms of viewership amongst Hindi entertainment channels, according to data for Week 19 of 2011.

It picked up 150 GRPs – that’s an increase of 11 points since last week. Notably, Sony Entertainment Television Asia has now distanced itself from sister station, SAB TV. The latter lost 17 points this week, registering 121 GRPs.

The Top Three remained unchanged but with lesser viewership than last week. Star Plus stayed ahead with 324 GRPs (last week 334). Colors registered 221 GRPs this week (last week 232). ZEE TV saw a decline to 183 GRPs this week (208 GRPs last week).

The sixth player in the chart was Imagine TV, which added 5 points from 59 GRPs last week to 64 this week.
