India ratings: Sony TV continues to climb

Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s repackaged offering continues to deliver at a steady rate, according to latest Indian viewership data from TAM.

Data from week 36 (TAM, HS4+), shows the top three more or less the same as it has been for the past few weeks, with Colors on top with 294 GRPs. STAR Plus slips to number two with 280 GRPs.

ZEE TV remains at number three with 269 GRPs.

Sony TV has climbed from 119 GRPs last week to 128 GRPs this week. The channel is yet to attract even more eyeballs this week when its reality show ‘Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao’ comes to an end. Furthermore, its huge dance reality show ‘Dance Premier League’ judged by Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit launches next month.

Other channels in the list include NDTV Imagine at number five with 105, SAB at number six with 66, STAR One follows next at seven with 39.

The bottom tier consists of STAR Utsav at eight with 20, 9X with 20 and Real in last with 6 GRPs.
