India ratings: Sony TV climbs in TRP race

Sony Entertainment Television Asia has been climbing back up the popularity chart with a surge in TRPs but still remains fourth behind the Big Three.

According to Indian viewership data from TAM for Week 46, Colors outperformed all other channels by claiming the numero uno slot for the umpteenth week.

Colors stands clear on top with 347 GRPs, 90 GRPs ahead of second placed STAR Plus which slipped to 257 GRPs, just 7 GRPs ahead of ZEE TV at 250.

Sony TV was comfortable in fourth position with 198 GRPs. The channel has doing well with dance reality show ‘Dance Premier League’ and Ekta Kapoor produced shows, ‘Baytaab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai’ and ‘Pyar Ka Bandhan’.

NDTV Imagine was fifth with 122 GRPs and SAB TV in last with 72 GRPs.
