India Ratings: Sony Pal rises to No.1 in combined U&R data


Sony Pictures Networks popular second entertainment channel, Sony Pal has shot up to the No.1 position in latest combined Urban and Rural data from BARC India for Week 9 of 2018.

Sony Pal delivered 753.407 million Impressions, pushing Star Bharat down to No.2 with 750.429 million Impressions and ZEE Anmol at No.3 with 682.244 million Impressions. In fourth was Star Utsav with 530.012 million Impressions and ZEE TV in fifth with 522.300 million Impressions.

The top shows in the combined (U&R) field were ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 12.537 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 11.610 million Impressions and ‘CID’ on ZEE Anmol with 10.014 million Impressions.

Colors stayed top in the Urban sector with 350.778 million Impressions, followed closely by Star Bharat with 347.669 million Impressions and Star Plus with 316.171 million Impressions. At No.4 was ZEE TV with 309.461 million Impressions and Sony Entertainment Television at No.5 with 302.888 million Impressions.

The top shows in the Urban sector were ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 7.544 million Impressions, followed by ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony SAB TV with 6.461 million Impressions and ‘Super Dancer’ on Sony TV with 6.263 million Impressions.

ZEE Anmol topped the Rural region with 532.931 million Impressions, followed by Sony Pal with 517.747 million Impressions and Star Bharat with 402.760 million Impressions. In fourth place was Star Utsav with 384.218 million Impressions and Rishtey in fifth with 307.442 million Impressions.

The top shows in the Rural sector were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 9.563 million Impressions, followed by ‘Baalveer’ on Sony Pal with 7.117 million Impressions and ‘CID’ on Sony Pal with 6.914 million Impressions.
