India ratings: Repeat of ‘PK’ keeps Sony TV up

Sony Entertainment Television Asia remained consistent in the latest round of Indian television ratings, mainly thanks to the repeat telecast of movie ‘PK’.

According to official data from BARC for Week 25 of 2015, Star Plus remained ahead of the rest with 389 million (last week 406 million), followed by Colors with 358 million (last week 341 million) and ZEE TV in third with 285 million (last week 255 million).

Life Ok was in fourth place with 233 million (last week 246 million) and Sony TV rounding off the Top 5 with 204 million (last week 236 million).

‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ on Star Plus remained the most watched show with a rating of 6.5, meanwhile ‘Meri Aashiqui’ on Colors was in second place with 6.0. Repeat telecast of movie ‘PK’ fetched a rating of 5.6. In comparison, the premiere of the movie last week scored 10.3.
