India ratings: ‘Naagin’ beats ‘Saathiya’ to top spot

Colors’ newest addition ‘Naagin’ has managed to topple the long running series ‘Saathiya’ on Star Plus in latest India television ratings.

According to official data for Week 48 of 2015 from BARC India, ‘Naagin’ managed to steal the coveted position by garnering 19.5 TVM. The show launched a few weeks ago and has steadily been climbing up the charts. The show has rejuvenated the channel’s weekend slot. ‘Saathiya’ was at No.2 with 17.2 TVM, while ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV was in third with 13.8 TVM. ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ was in fourth place with 13.4 TVM and ZEE Anmol’s ‘Ek Se Bhale Do’ was fifth most watched during the week with 12.7 TVM.

Star Plus was the most watched channel in India, followed by Colors and ZEE Anmol.
