India ratings: Life Ok drops to sixth place
Star Life Ok slipped to sixth place in the latest round of ratings from TAM India.
According to official data for Week 35, Star Plus was up slightly on last week with 562 GVMs (last week 559 GVMs). Its ratings only marginally increased despite the launch of its two new weekend shows ‘India’s Raw Star’, which opened with 4.5 million TVTs, while ‘Airlines’ started with 3.3 millions TVTs. Beside ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ most of the fiction shows on the channel saw a decline in viewership.
ZEE TV was in second place with 462 GVMs (last week 465 GVMs). Four of its shows also appeared inside the Top 10 most watched shows list. ��Jodha Akbar�۪ and ��Kumkum Bhagya�۪ topped the ratings overall with 8.9 and 8.6 TVMs.
Colors remained in third place with 388 GVMs (last week 377 GVMs), followed by Sony Entertainment Television Asia with 317 GVMs (last week 366 GVMs). The premiere of movie ‘Bhootnath Returns’ did well with 5 million TVTs.
Sony SAB TV was in fifth with 281 GVMs (last week 288 GVMs) and Star Life Ok tumbling down to sixth place with 267 GVMs (last week 288 GVMs). Zindagi was in seventh with 29 GVMs (last week 26 GVMs).
