India ratings: ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ boosts ZEE TV

While there was no significant changes in the latest round of India television ratings from BARC for Week 20 of 2017, it was ZEE TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ took lead on the programming front.

‘Kumkum Bhagya’ held on to the ultimate lead, toppling ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on Colors. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ was most watched fiction on Indian television (Urban) with 6.530 million Impressions, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on Star Plus with 6.445 million Impressions and ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on Colors tumbling down to third with 6.400 million Impressions.

Star Plus was the most watched Hindi entertainment channel with 427.931 million Impressions, followed by Colors with 317.817 million Impressions and ZEE TV in third with 291.346 million Impressions. Sony SAB TV held on to No.4 with 266.924 million Impressions and Sony Entertainment Television in fifth with 246.461 million Impressions.

In the Rural region, Sony Pal claimed lead again with 435.704 million Impressions, followed by ZEE Anmol with 382.853 million Impressions and Rishtey in third with 349.715 million Impressions. Star Utsav was in fourth place with 278.469 million Impressions and ZEE TV in fifth with 211.895 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Rural region was ‘Jamai Raja’ on ZEE Anmol with 6.503 million Impressions, followed by ‘Tashan-e-Ishq’ on ZEE Anmol with 5.255 million Impressions and ‘Baalveer’ on Sony Pal with 5.050 million Impressions.
