India ratings: ‘Krrish 3’ premiere boosts Sony TV

The premiere of ‘Krrish 3’ paid off for Sony Entertainment Television Asia after the channel reported a boost in its ratings, according to TAM data released for Week 13 of 2014.

Star Plus also impressed this week with GVTM of 687 TVM with a relative share of 26.34% (last week 649 TVM with 24.57% relative share). It extended its lead over second placed rival, ZEE TV by a huge 226 TVM.

ZEE TV shed viewers again this week with GTVM of 461 and a relative share of 17.68% (last week 489 TVM with 18.52% relative share).

Colors remained in third but with a slight fall in ratings – it was down to 454 GTVM with a relative share of 17.41% (last week 468 TVM with 17.72% relative share).

Star Life Ok was in fourth with 371 TVM and a relative share of 14.23% (last week 396 TVM and 14.99%).

Sony TV moved up to fifth with 362 TVM and a relative share of 13.88% (last week 313 TVM and 11.85% relative share).

Sony SAB TV fell to sixth with 273 TVM and a relative share with 10.47% (last week 326 TVM and 12.34% relative share).
