'Khiladi 786' premiere pushes Colors to second place

The World TV Premiere of ‘Khiladi 786’ last weekend pushed Colors to new heights in the India ratings, according to Week 8 data of 2013 from TAM.

The channel jumped back to the second place with 235 GRPs this week (last week 205). ‘Khiladi 786’, which was telecast on Saturday 23rd February got 5.1 TVR.

Even though Colors did well this week, it was not able to beat Star Plus, which remained India’s most watched Hindi entertainment channel. Star Plus got 248 GRPs (last week 259).

In third place was ZEE TV, which got 231 GRPs this week (last week 226).

In fourth was a resurgent Sony Entertainment Television Asia delivering 188 GRPs (last week 164). Its performance was helped by the telecast of the Filmfare Awards on Sunday 17th February – attracting 3.6 TVR.

In fifth was Star Life Ok with 144 GRPs (last week 142).

In sixth Sony SAB TV with 138 GRPs (last week 136).

Sahara One remained bottom with 24 GRPs (last week 26).
