India ratings: ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ drops out of Top 10

With the ample of news coverage ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ gained from the recent controversy, there were some hoping a jump in its viewership but unfortunately its had the adverse effect.

‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony Entertainment Television dropped outside the Top 10 most watched shows in India – just days after Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar boycotted the show.

According to official data from BARC India, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, which usually hovers around inside the Top 5, dropped out completely outside the Top 10 list. ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on rival channel, Colors stayed on top as the most watched show in India.
