India ratings: ‘HNY’ pushes ZEE TV to No.2

The World TV Premiere of blockbuster ‘Happy New Year’ propelled ZEE TV to number two in latest India TV ratings supplied by TAM for Week 5 of 2015.

Star Plus remained the dominant player in the sector with 616 GVMs (last week 659 GVMs). ZEE TV was in second place with 485 GVMs (last week 408 GVMs). Colors slipped to third with 477 GVMs (last week 485 GVMs).

Life Ok rose to fourth with 338 GVMs (last week 299 GVMs), followed by SAB TV with 294 GVMs (last week 305 GVMs) and Sony Entertainment Television Asia with 263 GVMs (last week 238 GVMs).

In the bottom tier, Sony Pal was in seventh with 29 GVMs (last week 26 GVMs), Zindagi continued to fall with 18 GVMs (last week 21 GVMs), Sahara One in ninth with 8 GVMs (last week 9 GVMs) and Epic in tenth with 8 GVMs (last week 7 GVMs).
