India ratings: ‘Fear Files’ proves a success for ZEE TV

ZEE TV’s new paranormal activity show ‘Fear Files’ has proved a huge success for the channel.

According to data for Week 27 of 2012, the weekend show pushed the broadcaster to 238 GRPs (last week 211). It leaped ahead of Colors, which was down slightly from 225 GRPs to 233 this week.

Star Plus remained the market leader, extending its lead to 298 GRPs this week (last week 266). The IIFA awards did well for the channel, which generated 4.7 TVR.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia registered 207 GRPs (last week 194).

Sony SAB TV was also up slightly up this week recording 125 GRPs (last week 120 GRPs).

Life Ok delivered 103 GRPs this week (last week 101).

Sahara One was down heavily this week – reaching its lowest rating for a long time. The channel could only manage 31 GRPs this week (last week 42).
