India ratings: Cricket continues to impact channels

Hindi entertainment channels didn’t see any major change in latest India television ratings beside cricket impacting some of the services.

According to Week 13 of 2016 data {HSM: NCCS All: 4+ Individuals: BARC India base ��� All India (U+R), Impressions (000s)}, Star Plus remained the market leader with 710397 Impressions (last week 710064 Impressions), followed by 653402 Impressions (last week 657379 Impressions) and ZEE TV with 593004 Impressions (last week 613620 Impressions).

The next batch consisted of ZEE Anmol in fourth place with 567596 Impressions (last week 568682 Impressions), DD National, which benefitted from the ICC World Twenty20 with 551556 Impressions (last week 517653 Impressions) and Sony Pal with 538463 Impressions (last week 520529 Impressions).

The bottom tier consisted of Life Ok with 491079 Impressions (last week 468788 Impressions), Rishtey with 469554 Impressions (last week 433109 Impressions), SAB TV with 367992 (last week 387634 Impressions) and Star Utsav with 457072 *last week 519207 Impressions).

In terms of programming, cricket between India and West Indies on DD National took lead with 26501 Impressions, followed by India vs Australia on DD National with 24134 Impressions. ‘Naagin’ on Colors was in third with 16314 Impressions (last week 18184 Impressions) and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV in fourth with 12074 Impressions (last week�۪s 12515 Impressions).
