India ratings: Cricket affects Hindi channels

The latest viewership data amongst Hindi entertainment channels in India shows a decline in TRPs due to the ongoing Champions Trophy cricket.

TAM data for last week (Week 39) puts Colors back on top with 263 GRPs (last week 279 GRPs). STAR Plus comes next with 254 GRPs (281 GRPs last week). ZEE TV holds its own at number three with 221 GRPs (246 GRPs last week).

The only riser last week was Sony Entertainment Television Asia at four. Its GRPs went up to 143 GRPs, while NDTV Imagine slipped below 100 to 94 GRPs.
