India Ratings: Colors’ returns to No.1 in Urban region

Colors bounced back up in latest India ratings by taking the No.1 position in the Urban region, according to BARC data for Week 23 of 2018.

The channel, which launched its new shows ‘Naagin 3’ and ‘Dance Deewane’ has put the channel back in a strong position. It delivered 383.017 million Impressions, followed by ZEE TV with 362.163 million Impressions and Star Plus slipped to No.3 with 321.530 million Impressions. At No.4 was Sony SAB TV with 287.745 million Impressions and Star Bharat with 267.446 million Impressions.

The top shows in the Urban region were ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 10.805 million Impressions, followed by ‘Dance Deewane’ on Colors with 7.592 million Impressions and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 7.508 million Impressions.

In the Rural region, ZEE Anmol was leading channel with 613.371 million Impressions, followed by Sony Pal with 445.464 million Impressions and Rishtey with 363.250 million Impressions. In fourth was Star Utsav with 362.717 million Impressions and Star Bharat with 362.717 million.

The top shows in the Rural region were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 9.789 million Impressions, followed by ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 5.741 million Impressions and ‘Zindagi Ki Mehak’ on ZEE Anmol with 5.476 million Impressions.

In the combined Urban and Rural data, ZEE Anmol was biggest Hindi entertainment channel with 803.634 million Impressions, followed by Sony Pal with 651.390 million Impressions and ZEE TV in third with 599.049 million Impressions. At No.4, Star Bharat delivered 555.751 million Impressions and Colors next with 547.437 million Impressions.

The top shows in the Urban and Rural data, ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 16.545 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 12.435 million Impressions and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 12.360 million Impressions.
