India ratings: Colors reclaims No.2; ZEE TV sinks

On the back of the success of ‘Bigg Boss 5’s return, Colors has overtaken Sony Entertainment Television Asia to reclaim back the number two position in the India TV ratings.

According to data for Week 38 of 2011, Colors managed 255 GRPs (205 last week) with Sony TV not too far behind with 248 GRPs (249 last week).

The launch episode of ‘Bigg Boss 5’ grabbed 4.3 points and averaged at 2.1 points during it’s first week of launch,

ZEE TV’s misfortune continues after sinking to an all time low of 142 GRPs (157 last week). Its currently a huge 106 GRPs behind Sony TV.

Star Plus leads the pack. The channel has recorded 304 GRPs (last week 306).

SAB TV has recorded 121 GRPs in Week 41 (last week 126).

The top 5 programmes for Week 41 are ‘Saathiya’ (4.8 TVR), ‘KBC’ (4.1 TVR), ‘Bade Ache Lagte Hain’ (3.7 TVR), ‘Balika Vadhu’ (3.7 TVR), ‘CID’ (3.5 TVR).
