India Ratings: Colors clinches lead in Urban market

Colors has toppled Sony Entertainment Television from the top of India ratings (Urban), according to Week 38 of 2018.

Colors delivered 474.372 million Impressions, followed by Star Plus, which remained in second place with 427.416 million Impressions and Sony TV in third with 427.364 million Impressions. At No.4, it was ZEE TV with 378.381 million Impressions and Sony SAB TV moved up to No.5 with 326.981 million Impressions.

The top shows in the Urban sector were ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 10.158 million Impressions, followed by ‘Dance Deewane’ final episode with 7.383 million Impressions and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on Star Plus with 6.468 million Impressions in third.

In the Rural sector, ZEE Anmol was top Hindi entertainment channel with 697.300 million Impressions, followed by Star Utsav with 493.180 million Impressions and Sony Pal in third with 377.955 million Impressions. At No.4, it was Rishtey with 344.623 million Impressions and Dangal at No.5 with 315.369 million Impressions.

The top shows in the Rural sector were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 11.213 million Impressions, followed by ‘Rabba Ve’ on Star Utsav with 6.422 million Impressions and ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ on ZEE Anmol with 6.393 million Impressions.

In combined data for both Urban and Rural, ZEE Anmol was the biggest Hindi entertainment channel with 861.115 million Impressions, followed by Star Utsav with 702.196 million Impressions and Colors jumped to No.3 with 695.563 million Impressions. In fourth, it was ZEE TV with 695.563 million Impressions and Star Plus next with 695.563 million Impressions.

The top shows in combined data were ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 15.402 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 13.387 million Impressions and ‘Dance Deewane’ final episode on Colors with 10.861 million Impressions.
