India ratings: Channels continue to fight

The latest India viewing ratings are out for Week 49 and it shows a relatively unchanged picture with Colors leading the race for the umpteenth week.

Colors dominates the chart with 341 GRPs, that’s 88 GRPs ahead of STAR Plus, which delivered 253 GRPs in the same week.

ZEE TV was in third with 241 GRPs.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s new look seems to be working wonders for the channel. It is edging closer to the 200 GRP mark, first time this year. It clocked 191 GRPs this week.

The newly bought Turner channel, NDTV Imagine, fell down the chart with just 99 GRPs this week. Sony TV’s sister station – SAB TV – was in sixth with 81 GRPs.
