The launch episode of ‘Bigg Boss 3’ has helped Colors touch a new high by raking in a huge audience for week ending Saturday 10th October, according to TAM.

The two and a half hour launch episode garnered a TVR of 4.6 on Sunday 4th October, followed with an average audience 3.2 during the week.

This boosted the weekly reach of the channel to 338 GRPs (gross rating points) from 270 GRPs the previous week. The channel’s previous record was 325 GRPs (week ended 12th September) when Colors launched the second series of ‘Khataron Ke Khiladi’.

In other channels, STAR Plus returned to number two by fetching 257 GRPs. ZEE TV sat third with 247 GRPs. Sony Entertainment Television Asia in fourth with 133 GRPs. NDTV Imagine finished in fifth with 112 GRPS, SAB TV followed next with 72, STAR One with 50 and Sahara One last with 38 GRPs.
