India ratings: All channels gain despite cricket

Despite the onslaught of the ICC Cricket World Cup, all Hindi entertainment channels in India have witnessed a substantial growth in ratings, according to data for Week 12 of 2011.

Star Plus remains leader of the pack with 305 GRPs this week (last week 275). Colors, which was the only gainer last week, added 22 points more this week, totaling to 257 GRPs (last week 235).

ZEE TV was in third with 207 GRPs (last week 203). Sony Entertainment Television Asia was in fourth with 183 GRPs (last week 133). The channel’s share was lifted mainly thanks to the World Television Premier of blockbuster movie ‘Robot’, which on its own collected 50 GRPs.

SAB TV grabbed 136 GRPs this week (last week 124). Imagine TV has also gained a few points to take its GRPs at 73 this week (last week 69).
