India ratings: Abhishek pips all gameshows

Abhishek Bachchan’s debut on the small screen with ‘National Bingo Night’ on Colors has outperformed other star hosted shows, according to overnight figures from aMap.

The first show of Abhishek, which aired on Saturday 23rd January, registered a TRP of 3.5 percent, which is much higher to Akshay Kumar�۪s debut ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ season one, which had 1.67 percent. While Salman Khan�۪s ‘Dus Ka Dum’ had 2.54 percent, even Amitabh�۪s ‘Bigg Boss 3’ managed only 3.24 percent.

However, one star he could not outdo was Shah Rukh Khan, whose ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 3’ grabbed a massive 5.76 percent.

‘National Bingo Night’ begins on Colors UK this Saturday (30th January).
