India Independence Day show launch on NDTV

English news channel NDTV 24×7 has begun a new series to mark 60 years of Indian independence. The show titled ‘The Third Eye – India @ 60’ will focus on presenting India through a series of innovative episodes capturing the unprecedented journey of the nation through its different stages of evolution.

The first ten episodes of this show will look at the transition of India from its rich history to where she stands at present.

Each episode of 20 minutes is being anchored by long-time NDTV hand Radhika Bordia. It follows a documentary style format and is being aired every Thursday night, with a repeat telecast on Sundays.

Speaking on the occasion, Sonia Singh, Managing Editor, NDTV 24×7 said, “As a news channel, we observe the country from extremely close quarters. ‘The Third Eye- India @ 60’ will look at India which is vibrant and mature enough now to be able to reflect upon the challenges that the last 60 years have thrown up.
