In Video: Trailer of ‘Detective Sherdil’ on ZEE5 Global
ZEE5 Global has released the trailer for its upcoming original film ‘Detective Sherdil’, a murder mystery set against the backdrop of Budapest.
The film stars Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role as an unconventional investigator drawn into a complex case involving the murder of a wealthy businessman.
Produced by AAZ Films and Offside Entertainment, and presented by Maurya Entertainment Production, the film is directed by Ravi Chhabriya. *Detective Sherdil* features an ensemble cast including Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Chunky Panday, Sumeet Vyas, Banita Sandhu, and Kashmira Irani.
The story follows the murder of a flamboyant billionaire (played by Boman Irani), initially believed to be a hate crime. However, as the investigation unfolds, the case reveals deeper layers of family tensions, personal rivalries, and hidden motives. Diljit Dosanjh plays the titular detective Sherdil, whose unorthodox methods and quick wit drive the investigation forward. He is joined by Natasha (Diana Penty), a sharp and composed fellow investigator.
Set in the atmospheric streets of Budapest, the film blends suspense and drama as the characters grapple with the mystery and their own secrets. The narrative aims to keep viewers guessing with unexpected twists and a wide cast of potential suspects.
