Sunrise Radio Yorkshire is celebrating 24 years of broadcasting this week with its first television advert that will run locally.

On the grand occassion, Usha Parmar – Chief Executive of Sunrise Radio Yorkshire said, “Sunrise Radio Yorkshire has gone from strength to strength over the past 24 years and I would like to thank all staff past and present for the hard work and dedication. I also thank all the advertisers, supporters and more importantly the listeners in making Sunrise Radio, one of the most listened to commercial Asian Stations in the world”.

Raj Parmar – Events and Marketing Director said, ” A big thank you to all involved in making Sunrise Radio number 1! Over the last year we have provided and updated new platforms such as our Smartphone App which is being used by over 20,000 ppl in over 50 countries and our website. There are several new exciting projects being planned for 2014 and I look forward to announcing them shortly.”

Sunrise Radio Yorkshire broadcasts on 103.2 FM in Bradford and surrounding areas, on digital radio in the West Yorkshire area, online and via a free mobile application.
