In Video: Avina Shah releases Sitaro Pe Nazar to support NHS

British Indian singer Avina Shah releases a sentimental song ‘Sitaro Pe Nazar’ to help raise funds for the medical teams during this pandemic. She has dedicated the song to the victims of Covid-19 and the families who have lost loved ones in this time, with deep and meaningful lyrics in the song that capture the emotions of losing someone you love.

During the Coronavirus outbreak, the entire world has come to a standstill and over 350,000 lives have been lost already. The medical staff including doctors, nurses and key medical workers all around the world are risking their lives to help fight this pandemic. Avina hopes the song will encourage people to come forward and donate to help the medical teams cope better with the situation.

Speaking of the song Avina said, “This is a very emotional song for me. I want to thank all the health workers around the world who are risking their lives during this terrible pandemic. It’s so sad to see so many families suffering and I want to do my bit in helping to fight Covid-19 by raising funds. Here in the UK the situation has been really bad and the medical staff are working around the clock doing the best they possibly can. I hope this song helps to increase awareness towards donation and together we can raise funds for the NHS and support victims of Covid-19. So many lives have been lost and a lot of people need help during these times so our little donations can go a long way.”

Avina’s last single ‘Husan Di Rani’ released with T-Series and became very popular with the masses, garnering almost 2 million views online. The foot-tapping Punjabi hit track got great traction on the web and could be heard in many households. Her new soulful ‘Sitaro Pe Nazar’ promises to sooth us for the time being whilst increasing awareness and motivating people to donate to the cause.

‘Sitaro Pe Nazar’ released this week on Avina’s YouTube Channel. Avina will be using the hashtag #SitaroPeNazar and #SupportNHS to promote the campaign. You can too, here: Donate
