India’s top rated news channel ZEE News has undergone a makeover, unveiling a new look with an interplay of red and blue colours throughout.
Besides, there will be new graphics as well as news tickers. Efforts have also been made to lay stress on the styling of the news anchors.
ZEE News Director, Laxmi Narain Goel, said, Every channel changes its looks in a year or so in order to be in tune with the viewers۪ tastes. We also felt the need to upgrade ourselves and be uptodate.
The channel had last changed its looks two years ago. This time the change has been effected by a Canada-based company, whose name could not be ascertained despite repeated attempts.
To coincide with the launch, ZEE News has also launched a new hard hitting news bulleting called Badi Khabar۪, which will focus on the journalistic approach of the channel and showcase what ZEE News stands for. The hour-long news show will concentrate on big and serious issues that affect the masses.
According to sources, ZEE News is looking at launching on Sky Digital later this year. In the meantime ZEE News bulletins can be viewed on ZEE TV at 07:00 and 19:00 weekdays.
