In Pictures: ZEE Network celebrates Diwali in London

London’s Trafalgar Square celebrated Diwali last weekend as the Mayor of London in association with the Diwali in London Committee and media partner ZEE Network put on a spectacular 10th annual Diwali festival in the heart of London.

Whilst official attendance figures for both events are yet to be released it is estimated that the event attracted a record number of over 40,000 people.

Babita Bahal, Head of Marketing, ZEE Network Europe, said “Seeing Trafalgar Square come alive with South Asian music and dancing and watching the huge crowds actively celebrating the festival of Diwali was an amazing sight. The queues at the ZEE stand began early in the day and continued to swell right through to the end. It was a great opportunity for us to interact with thousands of our subscribers and showcase forthcoming attractions and special competitions across the Network. ZEE wishes to congratulate the GLA on organising such a superb event.”
