In Pictures: Shreya Ghoshal receives award at House of Commons

Talented playback singer Shreya Ghoshal received a special award today at the House of Commons in London. In attendance were Barry Gardiner MP and also Virendra Kumar Sharma MP to name a few.

Ahead of her UK and Europe tour, Ghoshal was taken on a tour of the Houses of Parliament before arriving to a small event where she was awarded for her services to Bollywood and music on behalf of the British Indian community.

Upon receiving the award, Ghoshal expressed her gratitude to Sharma and also said that it felt like London was “not even one mile away from home”. She gave special thanks to her parents and her younger brother for always showing her their support. She said the award makes her want to do even better and to give even better music.
