In Pictures: ‘SaraswatiChandra’ shoot in London

As part of a new storyline, the lead actors of Star Plus’ hit drama ‘SaraswatiChandra’ have descended to London. Gautam Rode (Saras), Jennifer Singh Grover (Kumud) and Kabir (Ashish Kapoor) have been shooting at various London landmarks including London Eye, Tower Bridge, Butlers Wharf, Albert Hall Museum, since Friday.

Even though the weather seemed promising initially, it took a turn for the worse on Sunday leading to the shoot at Big Ben being halted. Monday’s weather forecast does not seem any better and the production team is hoping the shoot at Windsor Castle goes ahead as scheduled or there will have to be tweaks to locations.

The unpredictable British weather also took its toll on the actors with Grover feeling ill on Friday. However, on Saturday, she seemed in better spirits. Rode, on the other-hand was under the weather on Saturday and Sunday, with sore throat and temperature. BizAsia wishes the two actors all the best during the remainder of the London shoot.

The final day of the London schedule takes place on Monday before the crew fly back out to Mumbai on Monday evening. Rode will be staying behind for other work commitments until Thursday.
