In Pictures: Madhuri Dixit & SRK on Filmfares

The 56th Filmfare Awards took place at the Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, Mumbai on Saturday (29th January) with an exclusive performance of Madhuri Dixit and Shah Rukh Khan.

The on-screen golden couple who have starred in films like ‘Devdas’, ‘Anjaam’ and ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’ lit the stage on fire with a medley of popular tracks. It’s the first time in nearly ten years the two will be seen on screen together after ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’. The two briefly appeared together on Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s reality TV show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra paid tribute to Madhuri Dixit by performing to her hit numbers.

Madhuri Dixit took away a ‘Special Award’ for 25 years of contribution to Indian cinema. Amitabh Bachchan too was awarded for 40 years in the film industry.
