In Pictures: Inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house

The buzz surrounding the debut of ‘Bigg Boss 4’ has been immense and with the launch upon us, BizAsia.co.ukbrings you a tour of the infamous house.

‘Bigg Boss’ is the only TV in which you will see Indian 14 celebrities share a common bedroom and unisex loos. The show boasts of 50 cameras and a journey of 96 days.

This year’s ‘Bigg Boss’ will be hosted by Salman Khan. Producers have planned to add more drama to the lives of the inmates. Defying all logistics of the prior seasons, for the very first time in the history of ‘Bigg Boss’, the show will have a single common bedroom for all the contestants. The bedroom is tastefully done up in shades of green with a hint of yellow. Interestingly, the room has all double-beds with only one single-bed.

The house has got more compact, leaving just enough space for each inmate to keep a close eye on the others. The early morning highlight in the house this time is the bathroom. Putting all curiosity to rest, let it be announced that unlike season 3 which had two toilets and two baths each for men and women separately; this season there will be no such luxury as there will be two common toilets and two common baths for both men and women.

The outdoor expanse has the cool pool area which boasts of a special wave pool.

The confession room (diary room) will see a huge change this time in more ways than one, as ‘Bigg Boss’ has decided to be accessible to the inmates only when he wants to. The hydraulic entry and the flight of stairs leading to the confession room will open up only when Bigg Boss wishes so. Whenever an inmate enters, instead of a discreet electronic bell, he or she will have to ring a big metal bell that can be heard throughout the house.
