Sunrise Radio founder Avtar Lit
Avtar Lit, the founder of the first UK Asian commercial radio station, Sunrise Radio, has passed away.
Lit launched Sunrise Radio in 1989, which then paved the way for second station, Kismat Radio. It later acquired Club Asia Radio, which was rebranded to Buzz Asia.
