In Pictures: Deepika Padukone at Deewani Mastani launch

Deepika Padukone launched the first video song of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ earlier today at a fashion show by Anju Modi who has designed the costumes for the film. The collection was dedicated to the film itself, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Padukone plays the role of Mastani and the song Deewani Mastani is one in which she is dancing for Peshwa Bajirao, played by alleged beau Ranveer Singh. Priyanka Chopra plays Kashibai, Bajirao’s wife and is seen from the balcony above looking down at Mastani’s performance. The specially built Aaina Mahal is Bhansali’s ode to Madhubala and the song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal who is known for her melody.
