In Picture: Teaser of Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Bombay Velvet’

The makers of ‘Bombay Velvet’, Fox Star Studios and Phantom Films, unveiled a teaser image of Ranbir Kapoor from the film to build excitement around the first poster of the movie that is set to release this Thursday.

Ranbir was reported to have shot some cage-fighting scenes in this Anurag Kashyap romantic thriller for which he went through intensive boxing coaching. And the teaser image plays on his edgy avatar in the film. Ranbir plays the character of the risk-taking daredevil Johnny Balraj, who rises from the underbelly to become a big shot.

Anushka Sharma plays his love interest in the film that also marks Karan Johar’s acting debut in Bollywood.

‘Bombay Velvet’ releases on 15th May.
