In Picture: Sanya Malhotra’s first look in ‘Shakuntala Devi’

The first look of Sanya Malhotra in the upcoming ‘Shakuntala Devi’ film has been released.

Malhotra plays the role of Devi’s daughter, Anupama Banerjee. Talking about the character, Malhotra told DNA India, “My character in Shakuntala Devi is based on a real person, her daughter Anupama Banerjee. I believe that 70% of our job is done by the makeup and hair department. With the look in place, I got into her shoes easily. My director, too, helped me a lot to understand my character in the movie.”

As well as ‘Shakuntala Devi’, Malhotra will also been Anurag Basu’s ‘Ludo’ opposite Aditya Roy Kapur and ‘Pagglait’ with Guneet Monga and Ekta Kapoor.
