In Picture: First look of Ranveer & Deepika together in ’83’

Deepika Padukone has shared the first look of her character Romi Dev in Kabir Khan’s ’83’.

She is set to play the wife of real-life husband, Ranveer Singh, who takes on the role of Kapil Dev in the cricket fest. The film is based on India’s victory in the 1983 cricket world cup.

Taking to Twitter, Padukone said, “To play a small part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honour!83 for me is an ode to every woman who puts her husband’s dream before her own…” #ThisIs83.”
