Imtiaz Ali wants to make film based on Bihar

Being one of the finest filmmakers in the Indian film industry isn’t an easy task. This is something which is surely being proved by Imtiaz Ali, who has the backdrop of his next big idea but has yet to create a story.

Having spent much of his childhood in the state of Bihar, Ali spoke to the media about how he wants to make a film based on the state, during the Patna Film Festival. “The journey of my life has given a lot of experiences and stories emerge from life only… Patna is my grandmother’s place (nanighar) and I spent early eight years of my life in this city. And, as soon as I think of any story on the subject of Bihar, I will definitely make a film on it,”��Mid-Day��reported the film-maker stating.

He went on to add, “A film is not science but governed by emotions. It is important to make an ending in films.”

Many of Ali’s films are based on the subject of travel and journey both physically and emotionally for his characters. His last release ‘Tamasha’ (2015) starred Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, where their characters meet on holiday and form an unusual relationship. When they both return to reality, all is not what it seems.
