Imran-Shraddha for Rohit Shetty’s next venture?

Rohit Shetty is all set to remake the Tamil black comedy ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ (2013). Formalities took place not long ago and Imran Khan is said to be signed as male lead. Shraddha Kapoor is favourite for the film’s leading lady but yet to be confirmed whether she will bag the role.

A statement from Rockline Productions read, “The (Hindi) remake will be jointly produced by Rohit Shetty’s home banner, in association with A&P Groups and Rockline Productions”.

“The project has been pitched to leading actors in Kerala. Since ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ has a universal concept, it is easily applicable to any language. The project will go on the floors soon,” the statement continued.
