After the disastrous response to 2013’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara’, Imran Khan has vowed to work with Balaji Motion Pictures next ‘Milan Talkies’ on his own terms.
Deccan Chronicle reports that the production house was in a hurry to shoot for ‘Milan Talkies’ straight after the release of ‘Katti Batti’ but he was against the idea. A source said, Look first of all Imran wants to do a lot of workshops for 2 months and work on his character. But Balaji wants to start shooting the film immediately after ‘Katti Batti’.
Secondly, he wants to travel to Allahabad with Tigmanshu where major portion of the film will be shot, as a process to develop his character. Thirdly, he has raised his concerned over the overall budget of the film and his remuneration.
Another source told the publication, Balaji wants to finish this as a quickie in a small budget. They are also arm-twisting Imran to cut down his remuneration keeping in mind he hasn۪t had a hit film in a long time. But Imran is very confident about ‘Katti Batti’ and he believes its just about time he will back in the game. He is in no hurry to sign a film and will take a call on movies only post the release.
‘Katti Batti’ is out next week.
