Imagine to bring Indian version of ‘The Voice’

Imagine TV is launching the Indian version of the much talked about hit American show ‘The Voice’.

The Endemol produced singing talent show originated in Holland and proved an overnight success. The show has also done incredibly well in the USA and will be launching an English version of it in the UK next year.

The series consists of three phases: a blind audition, a battle phase, and live performance shows. The contestants are mentored by four celebrity judges.

The Indian version of ‘The Voice’ is expected to launch on Imagine early next year.

Incidentally, earlier this year, Imagine acquired the rights to international show ‘Wipeout’, which proved a disaster in the ratings. Let’s hope ‘The Voice’ is better received by Imagine viewers.
