Imagine TV is dabbling with the idea of axing ‘Armano Ka Balidan – Aarakshan’ due to poor ratings, according toTellyChakkar.
A source told the Indian portal that the channel has not been best pleased with the performance of the primetime property.
The source said, “The channel has not been very pleased with the ratings of the show and hence, they have already given it a notice period. And, this is something that happened even before Dolly Bindra and Supriya Kumari entered the show. The new track was brought in to garner some TRPs. This did bring in a marginal difference but was not encouraging enough.”
Producer Ravindra Gautam rejected any rumours about the show’s demise, he says, “Not at all it�۪s doing ok as far as the TRP is concerned. It�۪s not on the top but story-wise it�۪s doing well for the channel and I can say its ratings haven�۪t gone down.”
Gautam says the new entries were not made to garner any ratings. “The show has done little better but it�۪s not because of the new entries. We had to make a change in the track as we had completed 60 episodes and the new entries were always planned.”
